Catalogue No: P168
A very rare and unusual plaque from John Carr's Low Lights Pottery in North Shields. No lustre or decoration but fully glazed and fired. What may have been a factory 'second' presents as a unique piece of north east pottery. Impressed mark to the rear.
Approx 8.75 inches (220mm) wide x 8 inches (200mm) high.
In good condition throughout with an original firing blemish to the face and typical stuffs to the corners.
