Description:

A very attractive creamware jug, probably from Liverpool. On one side a black transfer of a ship, in full sail, flying the American flag. The other side with a wonderful transfer of The Parting Lovers surrounded by an almost funereal cartouche featuring the title below and an angels head above.

Circa 1790

Approx - 6.75 inches (170mm) tall.

In fair, original condition with various chips and scuffs but no restoration, well worn, aged, authentic and attractive.
