Description:
A large, impressive creamware jug from Dawsons of Sunderland, featuring a painted transfer of 'peace and plenty' and an iconic painted transfer of the bridge over the River Wear. Wonderful colours set against the creamware body and finished in black trim around the rim, neck and base. The handle has historic rivet repairs to to both ends, charming.
Circa 1800
Approx - 8.25 inches (210mm) tall.
In very good condition throughout, with typical, minor paint losses.
