Description:
A light, well potted tankard from the Garrison Pottery of Sunderland. Well decorated using bright, splashed, pink lustre around two painted transfers. on one side a maritime ditty and the reverse a the Mariner's Arms with the motto - Deus Dabit Vela.
Circa 1840-50
Approx - 4.5 inches (115mm) tall.
In fair condition with hairlines to base.
