Description:
An impressive jug featuring the verse 'England England glorious name....' a very nationalist, patriotic ditty, surrounded by an overpainted garland of flowers, below the spout. On one side a west view of the River Wear and on the other a very colourful scene of the 'sailors return.
Circa 1850
Approx - 9 inches (230mm) tall.
In very good condition throughout.
